Peggy Joyce Maxfield, 79, loving mother, grandmother and friend to all passed away December 10, 2021. Peggy was born November 17, 1942 in Quanah, Texas. She married the love of her life, Butch Maxfield, June 1, 1963. Butch and Peggy were married 47 years until his passing in 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, V.R. and Martha Henderson; brother, Mickey Ray Henderson; and her sister Lucy Townley.
Peggy was a beautiful, sweet lady with a joyous spirit and a zest for life. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Sons, Terry Maxfield and wife Dawn, Brad Maxfield and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Carli Smith and husband Corey, Toni Maxfield, Cole Maxfield, and Alexa Maxfield; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Lennox Smith.
