Pauline Mildred Kovar of Arlington, Texas, passed from this life to one with Christ on Chrismas Day 12/25/2015. She was 101 years of age. Pauline was born in Alsdorf, Texas, a small farming community, on January 18, 1914 as the second child to John T. and Antonia Sebetka. At her death Pauline was the only surviving child of this Sebetka family. She married Jerry Emil Kovar from Quinlan, Texas, on February 2, 1937 in Ennis, Texas. Together they helped on the farm, later moving to the Dallas area, and then to Ft. Worth, Texas where Jerry worked at Convair/General Dynamics until his death.
Pauline worked as a homemaker all her life, rearing three children: son Walter Jerry, and daughters Patricia Geraldine Fletcher, and Paulette Ann Cooper. She was a loving, thrifty wife and enjoyed being a wonderful Mother to each of her children, providing a happy home environment.
Visitation will be on 12/31/15 at 1 PM, followed by a gravesite interment at 2 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in east Ft. Worth. Mr. John Mark Fowler, her hospice chaplin, will provide the graveside service, followed by others who may want to make remembrance comments.
Survivors include son Walter and wife Beverly Kovar of Goldthwaite, Texas, daughter Paulette and husband Roy Cooper of Arlington, Texas, son-in-law Larry Fletcher, and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pauline was proceeded in death by her parents, John T. and Antonia Sebetka, her husband Jerry E. Kovar (1969), and daughter Patricia G. Fletcher (1999). Her four sisters and one brother also predeceased her.
