Ozie O'Neal

Ozie Ola O'Neal was born September 25, 1940 to the parentage of Ben and Juanita Yates Byrd in Crowell, Texas. Ozie attended and graduated from Vernon High School.

Mrs. O'Neal met the love of her life Mr. William L. O'Neal May 10, 1959, and to this union they were blessed with four children and remained faithful until his passing.

Ozie O'Neal was a valued employee of the Covenant Hospital in the Dietary Department, cooking great meals for the patients, a job she enjoyed until her retirement.

On Christmas Day 2021 Mrs. O'Neal closed her eyes in an eternal sleep of death to join others that preceded her in death, her parents, Ben Byrd, and Juanita Yates; husband, William L. O'Neal; brothers, Benjamin D. Byrd, Douglas M. Byrd and Donald R. Byrd, her granddaughter, Raneshia Mann.

Left with fond and precious memories her children; Rodney O'Neal, William L. O'Neal, Jr. (Ella), Shawn Mann {Claudie), Craig O'Neal (Beth), brothers, Forrest Byrd, Thomas Byrd, sister, NeOzie Hutchings, nine grandchildren, Rashun, Christopher, Christian, Castine, Kristine, Frank, Vashti, Cyrus and Zoe; six great-grandchildren, Ezra, Stella, Pryncess Grace, Marley, Presley and Mahkai.

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
