Lee Blackburn

Funeral: Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m. the same Friday, at the funeral home before the burial.

Lee (Daddy) was born October 26, 1926, in Los Angeles California, and later moved to Fort Worth Texas where he worked as an automobile painter and retired from Mid Cities Chrysler. Lee was a WW2 Navy Veteran, who served his country with pride. He was a loving man, who’s passion was spending time with his family, traveling Route 66 in his classic cars and living everyday to the fullest. Lee is loved by so many people and he will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by wife, Betty Blackburn, daughter, Linda Johnson, son, Steve Blackburn, and grandsons, Terry Blackburn and Bobby Johnson. Survivors: Son, Mike and wife, Kathie Blackburn of Hughes Springs; daughter-in-law, Dolores Blackburn, of Kennedale; grand children Jay, Stevie, Randy, Robin & Jason Blackburn and David Johnson; great grand children Cheyenne, Rustin, Makayla, Ranzel Chadd, Randall, and Sage Blackburn and James Johnson; great-great grand children, Skyler, Waylon, Kylie, and Lane Blackburn, and many nieces and nephews.
