Landers E. Bell was born on November 16, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to the parentage of Landers E. Bell, Sr. and Helen R. Bell.
Landers graduated from I.M. Terrell High School in 1965. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. He achieved the rank of Drill Sargent. He work at the United States Post Office for over 30 years.
Landers loved photography. He enjoyed taking pictures of the family reunions, celebrations and I.M. Terrell Alumni Association events, his high school alma mater. Landers loved sports. He played softball on the U.S. Post Office team. He also enjoyed playing golf. Landers favorite hobby was collecting coins. He loved to travel and take pictures of all the places he traveled to.
Landers entered his heavenly home on October 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bell; aunt, Vera M. Jackson; uncle, Hollie "Sonny" Smith; brother, Louie R. Bell and siser Mickey D. Collins. Those who are left to cherish his precious memories are his mother, Helen R. Collins; sons, Steven R. Bell and Anthony M. Richardson; grandchildren, Christopher J. Bell, Zaley Hunt-Bell; brothers, Charles E. Bell and Clarence "Pete" Collins; sister, Diane Fontenette (Rick); and a host a nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
