Kathryn Ann Brace

A memorial service will be held at her church, Grace Lutheran Church at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 17 in Conroe, Texas. Guest reception to follow. A private internment will be held with family.

Kathryn was born in 1935 in Jasper, Indiana to her parents, Henry and Freida Braun. She studied and taught nursing. With her husband Robert and children Jim and Mike she lived in Oklahoma, Dubai, Singapore, The Netherlands, Cairo and Houston Texas. She traveled and experienced the world with family and friends with a special love of Europe and flower gardens. She loved reading, filling numerous notebooks with her reading list. After her husband Robert passed, she became active in the Lake Conroe community serving for many years at the Montgomery Country Library and at Grace Lutheran Church.

She loved family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert and son Michael Brace.

Survivors include her son, James Brace, daughter-in-law, Dawn Brace, grandchildren Benjamin Brace, Sarah Brace Graves, Zachary Brace, great grandson Asher Graves. Daughter-in-law Jayne Brace. Brother and sister-in-law Alvin and Linda Braun. Nephews William and David Braun, niece, Cathy Braun Gehlhausen. Brother/sister-in-law William and Mary Lou Brace. Nephews Robert and William Brace, nieces, Sandy Brace Zakis and Barbara Brace. As well as extended family and friends.
