Joyce G. Clark

Joyce Marie Clark was born lo Reverend Willie Marshall and Oleavia Nelson Gaines on November JO, 1944, in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was 10 of 11 children.,

Shortly after High School she met Mr. Randolph Clark of Columbus, Georgia. Randolph and Joyce were married Alexandria, Louisiana on January 19, 1968, and were blessed with three children. Stationed at Carswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth, Texas, in 1978 until his retirement in October of 1980,Joyce and Randolph made Fort Worth, Texas their permanent home.

During her marriage, Joyce was a Homemaker until she started a job in Housekeeping at Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth, Texas. She worked in multiple capacities working her way up becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant until her retirement in June of 2006. In 2014 she decided to go back to work with Home Instead Senior Care in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Caregiver, where she provided personal care to patients providing them with companionship and emotional support. After falling ill in July of 2021, she retired for a second time.

Joyce was a member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas and Perfecting Faith Community Church of Fort Worth, Texas where she was an active member and served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher, Usher, served on the Finance Committee and worked in the Hospitality/Kitchen Department. She loved lo cook, loved her family and her church family and would do anything for them.
