He was born in Jimenez del Teul, Zacatecas, Mexico on May 4, 1944 to Aurelio Herrera and Maria de Jesus Rodriguez. He was married to Maria C. Herrera for 58 years.
He is survived by his loving children; Miguel A. Herrera (Ruby), Martha E. Herrera (Evelio), Aurelio
Herrera (Vanessa), Norma E. Reyes (Edgar), Sergio Herrera, Mireya J. Novoa (Humberto).
18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 5 sisters; many adoring relatives and
friends.
A visitation for Jose will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
A funeral service will occur Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 201 Thornhill Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76134.
A committal service will occur Friday, August 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
