John was born on April 9, 1957, to John and Juanita Ruelas in Fort Worth, Texas. At the time of his passing, he was retired and was the caregiver to his mother.
He is preceded in death by his sister Vivian Ann Ruelas and father John Ruelas. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Ruelas; brothers and sister: Kenneth and wife Cindy, Thomas and fiance Sally, Laura and husband Alan, Eric and wife Maureen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was loved and will be missed.
In lieu of sending flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
A visitation for John will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm with a rosary at 6pm, on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76148. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, June 23, 2023, at All Saints Catholic Church, 214 NW 20th Street, Fort Worth, TX 76164. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
