A Visitation for Joe will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.
Funeral Service will occur Friday, March 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM, Burial to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
Joe was born December 6th, 1932, in Crowell, Texas, son of Ada Hulme Heath and Clayton Marvin Heath. In his early teenage years, he served in the United States Army and later went on to be a licensed plumber. Some of his favorite pastimes were taking Connie out for a spin around the dance floor, sitting around the table strategizing how to win Mexican Train, spending time at the river with family, and fishing. He always had a story to tell of his past adventures or a joke that would have you laughing or shaking your head.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Johnie Heath, Herman Spruill; and sisters, Ruby Kendrick, Reba Spruill; son Gary Heath
Left to cherish his memory his loving wife of 14 years, Connie Heath; sons, Donald Heath and wife Diane, Terry Heath and wife Tresa; stepsons Roger Meadows, Andy Avirett and wife Kelley, Edward Avirett ; stepdaughter Diane Johnson (Deanne); brother, Jimmy Heath and wife Sonya; he is also survived by 8 grandchildren Donnie, Heather, Matthew, Jack, Justin, Jessica, Jason, Cary; and 21 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Whether known to you as husband, father, brother, papa, or friend he will be missed by all who knew him.
