Jill was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 20, 1943. On January 26, 1963, Jill married Larry Macy and they went on to have a loving marriage of 58 years with two children, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Jill worked as a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell in Wichita, Kansas for several years. After moving to Texas with her husband she stayed home to raise their two kids. In 1978 she returned to work at Lockheed in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked in Facilities Plant Engineering for 23 years, retiring in December of 2001.
Jill was a dedicated sister, wife, mother, and Mimi. She had great love for Jesus and her family with whom she loved spending as much time as she could in her retirement years. She also had many friends in her life that she loved dearly. Her wit and humor brought light into so many people’s lives. She was well loved and will be deeply missed.
Jill is survived by her husband, Larry Macy, her son Troy and wife Lisa, her daughter Cammi and husband Kevin O’Teter, her sister Deborah and husband Steve McAlexander, and grandchildren Maci and husband Danny Hindman, Colton, Dawson, and her beloved great grandchild, Linkin Hindman.
