Georgia M. Taylor, 74, entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at a local care center. Funeral: Noon Saturday at Heavenly Gospel Church of God in Christ. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Wake and visitation: Noon to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m., in the Pauline Minor Chapel of Spencer Funeral Directors. Survivors: Her children, Timothy Taylor (Youlanda), Ricky Pickens, Robert Pickens (Kathryn) and Niko Pickens; sisters, Mary Taylor and Ella Taylor; brothers, James Taylor, George Taylor Jr. and Nathaniel Taylor; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
