Era Faye Wilson

Era Faye Wilson ,88, of Burleson passed away on December 04, 2021. She was born in Vashti, Tx to Lon and Pearl Stallcup. Faye was born during the depression era. After her father passed away her mother was a single parent raising three kids. They moved to Bellview,tx where she graduated high school. She went to work at a coffee shop where she met the love of her life Glenn Wilson. They married and had one daughter Janis Kay Wilson. They soon moved to Wichita Falls where they had one son Bruce Alan Wilson. After they moved to Burleson,Tx Glenn retired from Mrs Bairds bakery and Faye retired from the dental office where she was a dental assistant. After that she lived her life taking care of children at First Baptist church in Burleson and at her home. It was not unusual for her to have several kids at her home “keeping her company” as she would tell everyone. She was always available to take care of anyone who needed a free babysitter no matter how many there were. We love and miss you already.

She is survived by her son, Bruce Wilson and his wife Linda. Also by her brother Howard Stallcup of Corinth, TX. Her grandchildren Bradley Griffin, Heather Griffin, Ryan Wilson and Kevin Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn and her daughter Jan.

Her funeral will be on Friday, December 10, 2021

at Laurel Land funeral home in Fort Worth ,TX

She will be laid to rest beside her husband forever together in the cemetery following the service.
