Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday in Shannon Rose Hill Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the service. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. To honor Ed Mosley's service as a firefighter, a memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Steele Creek Fire Hall, FM 1713, Morgan.
Ed Mosley was born in Dallas County to Lewis and Ruby Mosley. He grew up on a farm in Mansfield. He married Linda Melton Mosely in 1961. From this union came their children, Debbie, Doug, Tammie and Edward "Allen."
He worked at Bell Hellicopter, was a truck driver, worked in the oil field and did lawn and gardening services. He was a volunteer firefighter for the past 15 years and held every position within the department.
The family is happy to know he is united in heaven with his father and mother, Lewis and Ruby Mosley; brothers, Ralph, Norman and Dean Mosley; and great-grandson, Caleb Reeves.
Survivors: He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Linda Mosley; daughters, Debbie Reynolds and Tammie Mosley of Fort Worth; sons, Douglas Carter and wife, Renae, of Brownwood, Edward "Allen" Mosley and wife, Kerry, of Fort Worth; sisters, Margie Brymer and husband, Don, of Fort Worth, Helen Raines and husband, Bob, of Fort Worth; 13 grandkids; six great-grandkids; many firefighter family members; and many friends.
