Funeral Services: The services will be held at 4 pm Tuesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 till 8 pm at the funeral home.
Earl was born in Magic City, Texas and was a life long Texan. He had five brothers and one sister. His father passed away when he was five years old and he was raised by his mother Montana. After high school he played bluegrass music with his band "The Rock Cruisers". In his years raising his family he enjoyed a large garden, and boating Lake Arlington and Amon Carter Lake in Bowie. He worked at the Arlington General Motors plant for 30 years, and was a volunteer fire fighter in Bowie and Azle. He loved country and western dancing and he learned to salsa dance at U.T.A. He enjoyed the casinos, family reunions and gathering at the senior center in these recent years.
Survivors: son James and wife Marie; daughters Lisa Hardin and Janie Rietz; two grandsons; two grand daughters; several great-grandchildren; and the love of his life Dorothy Krug.
