Dorothy L. Ross, age 83, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Tuesday December 24, 2019. Dorothy was born October 6, 1936 to Ross Steele and Mattie Harris Steele Long, Dorothy Lee Delois Steele, also known as Aunt Dot, was the 11th of 14 children in the Steele Family. One of the most pivotal moments for her was at her mother's funeral in 1968, when she gave her life to Christ Little did she know that moment planted a seed in fertile soil that continues to bear fruit to this day and years to come. She is survived by her sisters; Angelyn Steele Atterbury and Phyllis Long Scaggs; daughter, Jaqueline Gaye Steele Perry; grandchildren, E. Dannielle Steele, Camille and (Jarryd) Garner, Adam and (Vernesa) Perry, Jared and (Danielle) Perry,; great grandchildren, Karrington and Kaelon Harris, Jared, Caleb, and Nila Perry, Joshua, Daniel, and Matthew Garner; great great-grandchild, Ira Harris. She will always be remembered because of her laugh, and her love for her family and all her grandbabies, great grandbabies and great great-grandchild.
