In 1954 on one marvelous day, in the town of Longview, Texas to the proud parents of Ted and Vertie Sharp, a precious baby boy was born. They named him Danny Ray ••• God s will was done.
Danny was so full of joy and life in his adolescence years and as adult he still possessed the same qualities of being kind, loving, and giving; he was one of a kind.
He graduated from I.M. Terrell in 1972. He went on to work for Gearhart and Owen for many years. He retired from the Fort Worth Independent School District, where he worked at Morningside Middle School.
Danny Ray inherited from his father, Ted Sharp, the ethics of working hard. Danny faithfully went to work every day.
He always thought about others; if there was a need, he was right there ••• he was just a beautiful soul.
Danny didn't mind cooking; he could make some good tasting cornbread ••• close to what his mother made (Vertie Sharp) normally called Momma Dear.
It was on a Friday, December 9, 2022, that the Lord called this amazing man home, where, he won't have to experience any more pain, heartaches, and worries. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Ted Roosevelt Sharp Sr. and Vertie Lee Sharp, Sister: Hazel Sharp, Brothers: Willie Barnes (W.C.) and Lonell Sharp, Grandmothers: Laura Sharp and Nora Edwards Gray, Uncles:
Jack Brooks and Chester Brooks, and Aunt: Mandy Lou Wallace.
