He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Claudia Nell Teague; sister, Donna Pairsh and her husband, Pat of Beaumont, TX; Stepson, Michael L. Anderson and his wife Kathy of Venus, TX; daughter-in-law Holly Teague of Midlothian; 4 granddaughters, Jennifer Lonsford, Jamie Rigsby, Storie Cunningham and Cassidy Jaroe; 2 Step grandsons, Michael Anderson II and Dalton Anderson and 8 great grandchildren.
Clifford graduated from Polytechnic High School. He attended Arlington State College for 2 years. His education was interrupted by the U. S. Army in which he proudly served 2 years. He went on to build a career in the electrical field and subsequently retired from Texas Steel Company after 37 years of employment.
Clifford just might be called a modern-day Renaissance Man. Not only was he licensed to fly multiple types of aircraft he also had great fun jumping out of those same planes. He loved the water choosing to build a home on Eagle Mountain Lake, where he enjoyed entertaining family and friends. You were always invited for a ride around the lake in either his power boat or sailboat. His hospitality was never more present than at his 4th of July parties.
He had many adventures either flying his airplane or chartering a sailboat in the Caribbean. Clifford took great pleasure in taking anything that was broken (mechanical or electrical) apart and putting it back together. He loved sharing that knowledge and talent with his sons, grandsons and friends. Teaching was a hidden talent and the lesson often went beyond the question. If you asked him what time it was – he would with great detail – tell you how to build a clock.
His skills, talents and interests were rounded off in a very artistic way. Clifford spent many years studying classical guitar resulting in producing a beautiful sound that could definitely serve as the soundtrack for the adventures of his life well lived.
Following this service you are invited back to his home for a celebration of his life.
