Clarence Lane

Clarence Edward “Fatty” Lane was born on March 15, 1940 in Jonesville, Texas to the parentage of Alfred and Winner Mae Lane.

Clarence was educated in the Jonesville Independent School District and graduated from Central High School.

Clarence was baptized, at a young age at Old Border Baptist Church in Jonesville, Texas.

It was March 23, 1965 that Clarence married the love of his life Claudia, and they remained together as one until her passing in October of 2014.

On October 5, 2022, God dispatched an Angel to receive Clarence from this earthly realm to his new home over in the realms of Glory. He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Troy, brothers; Curtis, John, Robert and Percy Lane.

Those who are left to cherish the memories of Clarence are his children, Clarence Lane, Jr. (Thurma) and KaShanda Lane, Grandchildren; Malcolm Cairo Jr., and Troi Lane, brother; Marsel (Roy)Gilder and Sister; Catherine Gilder, and host of other relatives and friends.
