Charlesetta Gorman Davis

Mrs. Charlesetta Gorman Davis was born March 21, 1931, in Fort Worth, Texas. The daughter of the late Harmonia Charles Gorman and Elzader Stewart Gorman (later Jackson). Mrs. Davis departed this life peacefully in her home on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

She was an active member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas and a retired Nurse’s Aide.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sister-in-law Linda Davis of Arlington, Texas, six nieces and nephews, Barbara Barnes and Clifford Barnes Sr. of Youngstown, Ohio, Darleen Barnes of Newton, KS, Donna Barnes of Greensboro, NC, Timothy Barnes Sr. of Charlotte, NC, and Lester Barnes Sr. of Los Angeles, CA. and a host of great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Davis, her parents, and her sister Ola Mildred Barnes.

Charlesetta will be laid to rest in her Divine Bed of Rest at the Skyvue Memorial Gardens, located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Road in Mansfield, Texas on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

Friends may call one hour before the service from 9am to 10am.

The service will be held at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10am, 3124 N. Houston St., Fort Worth, Texas 76106.
