Carolyn Fran Frances French

Fran grew up in Roswell, Georgia. She graduated from Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia in 1962. After high school she worked for Macy’s in Atlanta, Georgia. She also worked for GTE/Verizon for 33 years.

Fran married Clyde French in 1966, in Sandy Springs, Georgia. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Fran is survived by her spouse Clyde of Keller, Texas; her daughter, DeeDee (Don) Driver of Plano, Texas and her son, William (Angie) French of North Richland Hills, Texas, chosen son John (Deana) French of Ft. Worth, Texas; her sister, Carrie (James) Langford, brother Franklin (Brenda) Massey, sister, Diane (Alfred) Cash, brother, Larry (Mary) Massey, brother, Jerry (Sheryl) Massey; her grandchildren Davis Driver, Alex French, Hayden Driver, Allie Driver, Ethan French, chosen grandchild Liam French, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Allie Elizabeth and Edward Thomas Massey, and her brother, William Calvin Massey.

A funeral service will be held at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, 6100 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148 at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2015. She will be laid to rest in Roswell, Georgia.

Flowers or memorial donations will be gladly accepted. Donation can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
