A Visitation for Betty will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112 with a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born to Arthur (Brownie) and Francis (Jeane) Brown on July 5, 1961, where she was the youngest of three children. She graduated from O.D Wyatt High School in 1979. Betty met her soon to be husband Cortney in 1978 and married her forever love on July 24,1980 they got to spend 43 adventurous years together. Where they welcomed 2 children Danny and Tammy, Betty was a doting mother and willing to help her kids at every turn even into adulthood. She gained a new title MEME when her first grandchild Trinity came along, and her title grew.
With Daniel (her guardian angel) Grayson, Danny Jr, Bentley, Ayden, Serenity, Haylie, Mark and Michael she loved all the grandkid, and was excited about her Great Grand on the way. Betty dedicated herself to her work. She worked at Burger King as a supervisor for 21 years, she then went to Walmart where she dedicated 24 years. Barley missing any days of work.
Betty loved spending time with her family, for dinners, taking a grandkid out to eat or to the doctor or attending grandparents' day at school, to sporting events win or lose she was there to cheer them on!
Betty was a great friend, even when miles away she loved catching up, when they all had down time. But when she had her own down time, she loved reading Harlequin books or watching the voice with Cortney and loved watching True crime.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Francis Brown Brother Stanley “Buster” Brown Grandson Daniel Delpho
She is survived by Her Husband Cortney Butcher Son Danny Butcher and Wife Abbie Daughter Tammy and Husband Michael Treadwell, Sister Cathy Harston, 9 grandchildren, 3 nephews and 6 nieces 5 great nieces, 3 great nephews and 1 great-great niece.
