Arthur Curtis (A.C.) Henry was born July 15, 1956 in Fort Worth, TX to Isidore Sr. and Jessie Mae Henry. A.C. was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth and a proud Wildcat graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School Class of 1974. After high school, Arthur dedicated himself to service in the United States Army, serving 6 1/2 years. He carried the skills he learned into a lifelong career in the HVAC and Electrician industries while earning his college degree from the former Tarrant County Junior College in Fort Worth, TX. After 22 years, A.C. retired from Fort Worth Independent School District where he worked and led the HVAC Department as Asst. Foreperson. A.C. enjoyed fishing, cruises, putting something on the BBQ grill, dominoes, cards and a good time with friends and family. A.C dedicated his life to serve Christ alongside his beloved wife, Sandra at both Concord Baptist and Great Commission Baptist Church. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sandra; son, Rashied Henry (Theresa); daughter, Shanita Henry; two grandsons, Jaylon Banks and Tyler Henry; brothers, Joseph, Rodney, and Jule Henry; sisters, Mary Allen, Regina Elgin, and Susan Ogato; numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and those affectionately called "his kids."
He is preceded in death by parents, Isidore Sr. and Jessie Mae Henry; son, Tonero Taylor; brother, Isidore Jr., Wayne, and Phillip Henry; sister, Barbara Graham
A visitation for Arthur will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Laurel Land FH - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Great Commission Church, 7700 McCart Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76133. The funeral service will be available on live stream at www.gcbcfw.org. A graveside committal service will occur Monday, November 28, 2022 at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134.
