Mr. Andre Lamont Powell was born to Verma Kay Powell, on July 22, 1970 in Tyler, Texas. He completed his education with the The State School of Texas. During his younger years he joined Fellowship Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX under the leadership of Pastor Dellie Evans. He was a faithful servant and prominent choir member. Andre has resided in Corpus Christi, Dallas, and Mexia Texas.
Andre had the biggest heart for people and loved joking with his family. He was known for loving his entire family especially all of his first cousins. He loved going to church and looked forward to each and every Sunday. Andre’s heart of gold made him a loving person, he had an out standing personality. Andre never met a stranger. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved listening to Shirley Caesar. Anytime you seen him, of course he would have on shades and a hat of some sort. To us he was our big lovable teddy bear. Always calling anyone who would answer the phone daily and several times throughout the day. He lived his life to the fullest being Andre doing what he wanted to do and going where he wanted to go. We all loved Andre and will miss him dearly.
