WILLIAM M. "DOC" KLINE, 83, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, 12:05 a.m., at his residence. Born June 21, 1927, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late William O. Kline and Bess (Van Arsdel) Kline. He had served in the U.S. Army. He was a sales manager at WKJG television, retiring after 40 years of service in 1989. He was a lifetime member of the Elks and Friars club. After his retirement, he enjoyed golfing and spending time at the lake fishing with his grandchildren. Surviving are his son, Brent Kline of Fort Wayne; daughter, Susan (Bob) Grace of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Karlita Scher of Huntington; two grandchildren, Andrea (Cooper) Sinclair of Louisville, Ky. and Amy (Chris) Hurst of Fort Wayne; and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary A. (Baumbaugh) Kline. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Chaplain Karen Kosberg officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
