Terrence “Terry” Jack Gleave, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Norman Hamilton Gleave and Alice Ethal Pixley. He was a 1964 graduate of Hutchinson Technical High School in Buffalo, New York. He then attended Indiana Institute of Technology in 1968 and graduated with a bachelor’s in civil engineering. Terry went on to attend St. Francis College and received his master’s in business in 1972. Terry was the founder of Gleave Construction Inc. in 1970 and owned Interior Channel and Red Line Power Sports. Terry enjoyed working, golfing, and fishing. Above all, Terry loved his family. Surviving are his children, Wendy (Tony) Vie, Adam (Amanda) Gleave, and Seth (Amanda) Gleave; ten grandchildren; siblings, Ted (Karen) Gleave, Cliff (Lynda) Pixley, and Cyndi (Mike) Landis; and significant other, Shari Gilbert. Funeral service 10:30 Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Concordia Lutheran Church 4245 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior to the service. Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Monday, May 20, 2019 at D.O.
