Steven Michael Reed, 56, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital. Born June 11, 1960 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Richard and Marjorie Reed. Steven was a roofer for over 15 years prior to working as a property manager doing general maintenance and repairs with many different facilities for over 30 years. Steven was a very family oriented, hardworking, and humble man who went above and beyond to help others. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, shooting, and bonfires. He is survived by his sons, Edward (Jennifer) Walda of Fort Wayne, Matthew (Nicole) Reed of Whitley County, and Norman (Christina Jurju) Walda of Fort Wayne; many grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bernice (Walda) Reed; and brothers, Richard Reed Jr. & Daniel Reed. Private services will be held by the family. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
