Steven Michael Hicks

Steven Michael Hicks, age 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was born January 4, 1959, a son of the late Homer and Dorothy Hicks. Steven is survived by his daughter, Shaquana (Cornelius) Martin; 3 sisters, Betty Warfield, Chenitta (Art) Gregory, Felicia (John) Burney; 2 brothers, Billy (Julia) Hicks, Harold (Mary) Hicks; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and family. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael (Mike-Mike ) Causey; and one brother, Carlton Hicks. He lived a carefree life, despite of anything, he loved his children and grandchildren. He called his daughter at least 3 times a week just to say "I love you." He had a special bond with his big brother, Billy, who was the only person that could get him out the house. He will be missed dearly and will remain close to the hearts of everyone that knew and loved him. A Celebration of Love and Remembrance service will take place at 7:00pm on Friday, February 25, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with calling to begin at 6:00pm, one hour prior to the service.
