Stephanie Ann Phillips

Stephanie Ann Phillips, age 56, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born October 27, 1966 in West Chester, Pennsylvania to the late James and Cynthia Johnson. Following graduation, Stephanie worked as a housekeeper, and also helped as a nanny. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with loved ones; she was very excited about being a grandmother and was very passionate about helping others, and showing people a better way. Drawing upon her own life experiences, she desired to give back to the community and teach others how to not make the same kind of mistakes she had once made. Stephanie desired to right all of her wrongs, and found hope in making reconnections. Her dream was to visit Niagara Falls, which she thought it was one of the most beautiful locations and wished for her ashes to be spread there. Stephanie was very passionate about family, considering it to be one of the most important things in the world! She instilled that when you have a family, a person needs to do everything in the world not to lose it. She loved hard and her heart was solid as gold; she would give anyone the shirt off her back if they needed it. Stephanie is survived by her children, Drue Kreft, Brett Kreft, Matthew Kreft, and Jessie Swanson; fiancé, Dwayne Sims; and honorary daughter, U'rica Winder. Funeral Service is 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 8th at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan, 2114 S Calhoun Street in Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
