Shirley E. Cameron, 95, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Born on November 7, 1926, in Auburn, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Leslie W. and Bernice (Wible) Widney.
Shirley retired in 1994 from the Allen County Department of Family and Children’s Services, and was a volunteer at Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic, and the Botanical Gardens of Fort Wayne. She is survived by her children, Julie W. Cameron, James W. Cameron, and John W. (Dawn) Cameron; grandsons, Brett, Brian, John A., and William; and great-granddaughter, Josephine; former daughters-in-law, Cathy and Barb. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lu Kain.
A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
