Sandra Marie Rager

Sandra Marie (Christie) Rager, age 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Sandra was born on January 6, 1938 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Bernard and Vera Christie. She was a 1955 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Sandra was a wonderful wife and mother. Spending her days as a homemaker family was everything to her and she was always home to care for their needs. Sandra was also a 500 hour volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Sandra is survived by her husband, Joseph Rager; daughter, Lori (Rager) Logue, (husband-Jim); son, Mark Rager, (wife-Michelle); seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Vera (Hatch) Christie; brother, Rick Christie; and a daughter, Cheryl (Rager) Teetsel A visitation for Sandra will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. A visitation will occur Friday, February 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald St., Fort Wayne, IN 46803. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald St., Fort Wayne, IN 46803. A committal service will immediately follow the service in Catholic Cemetery Fort Wayne, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
