Sandra Buck Harris, 68, died unexpectedly, and much too soon, September 12, 2022, at home. She was born August 4, 1954, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Edgar Harris Sr. and Betty Gueth. Sandy, both professionally and in her personal life, used every day as an opportunity to care for and help others. Sandy’s heart was filled with love. Her huge and outgoing personality allowed that love to shine. In addition to her parents, Sandy was predeceased by her brother, Stan Harris. Surviving are her daughters, Tonya Ryan, Jamie Brown and her husband Duane and Sarah Heckber; eight grandchildren, Roxanne Ryan, Alissa Brown (Kummer), Aria Brown, Gracie Brown, Carter Brown, James Heckber, Rolan Heckber and Brody Heckber; two brothers, Rex Harris and Butch Harris; two sisters, Debra Nash and her husband Dean and Peg Bates and her husband Dan; many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service - Highland Park Funeral Home, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
