Ruth was born November 26, 1951 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of the late Lloyd and Marjorie (Patten) Deerwester.
Ruth retired from Coventry Meadows as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Elliott of Fort Wayne; children, Pamela Law and Hugh (Leslie) Elliott, both of Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Elliott in 2020.
A visitation for Ruth will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809, with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
