RODNEY STERLING HICKS, 43, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Feb. 28, 1967, in Prestonsburg, Ky., he was the son of Shirley Hicks of Fort Wayne and the late Robert Hicks. Also surviving are his sisters, Angela (Jim) Liechty and Marjorie Spoat, both of Fort Wayne, and Tonya Hicks of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling from noon until time of service. Preferred memorials to the family.
