Robert "Stelly" Carl Stellhorn

Robert "Stelly" Carl Stellhorn, age 84 passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born on May 15, 1938 in Fort Wayne, IN. He graduated from North Side High School. He loved golf, IU basketball, NASCAR racing, and trips to Las Vegas. Stelly retired from the City of Fort Wayne Fire Department where he served in many different positions, including District Chief. He later went to work for the Wayne Township Assessor’s office as the Assessor. He is survived by his loving daughters, Sheryl (Mike) Figg, Tonya “Toni” Worrel, Jody Lomas; his grandchildren – Alicia (Curtis) Jailer, Gary (Najila) Jefferies, Ashley Worrel, Jerrica (Ray) James, Bobby Gladieux, Andrea Watson, Rachel (Scott) Pugh, and his great-grandchildren, Blake, Brennan, Israel, Ray Jr, Roman, Zoe, Emma, and Allie; his brother, Jack Stellhorn, and sister, Beverly Anders; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Abigail Stellhorn, and his sister, Carole Shively. Services are scheduled at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 on December 29th, 2022, at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is scheduled at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 on December 28th, 2022, from 3 PM until 7 PM. He will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, IN.
