Rick David Parker

Rick was employed with American Steel at the time of his death. He was a steel fabricator for 35 + years. Rick served in the Indiana Air National Guard from 1983 until 2007 when he was honorably discharged as MSGT. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed BBQing, gardening, coaching his children in various sporting activities, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jayne Parker; children, Carey Parker, Patrick (Tamara) Parker, Paul (Samantha) Parker, Nikki Parker, Roxann (Barry) Russell, Amanda Bowers, Zach Parker and Colette Parker; grandchildren, Robert (Jenny) Parker, Kristin (Casper Sizemore) Christoffersen, Colten Parker, Kyra Parker, Cooper Parker, MacGregor Parker, Michael Antoine, Arryanna Russell, Alexandria (Tristan) Shoup, Aliza (Irie Jr.) Young, Amara King, and Zayn Parker; great-grandchildren, Blake Stine, Lillyanna Stine, Kyler Stine, Arya Parker, Kora Sizemore, Arrya Antoine, and Irie Young III, siblings, Kathleen (Howard) Pearson, Steven (Trudy) Parker and Michelle (Matt) North and a host nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Rick will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
