Rebeca Garcia Salazar

Rebeca Garcia Salazar 33 of Fort Wayne was born on January 11, 1988 in Calderas Temascalcingo, Mexico. She passed from this life on January 23, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical. She came to the United States at age 16 after graduating Cbt No.2 Jose Ma. Velasco, Temascalcingo 15ECT School. Rebeca worked for Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. She enjoyed shopping, spending time in the parks with her children, going out to eat and conversing with family in Mexico. She was baptized at San Judas Tadeo Calderas Temascalcingo Catholic Church in Mexico and attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church after coming to Fort Wayne. Surviving are her sons, Angel De La Cruz Garcia, Alex De La Cruz Garcia; parents, Benjamin Garcia Chaparro and Ofelia Salazar Sanchez; siblings, Lizbeth Garcia Salazar, Daisy Garcia Salazar, Paola Garcia Salazar and Bianney Garcia Salazar; a special cousin, Mario Velazquez along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services 11:00am Friday, February 12, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 2213 Brooklyn Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday, February 11, 2021 at D.O.
