Raymond Claude Wigfield Jr.

Raymond Claude Wigfield Jr., 61, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. He was born on July 13, 1957 in New Haven, IN. He was the son of Raymond Claude Wigfield, Sr. and Helen Louise (Henry) Wigfield.

Ray retired after 33 years of dedicated service for the City Utilities of the City of Fort Wayne. He was happiest when spending time with his children, family and friends. He loved to fish any chance he could and was always listening to his favorite music.

Surviving family include his son, Robert Wigfield and daughter, Samantha Wigfield both of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Carolyn Reid of New Haven, IN; former wife, Cindy Wigfield of Fort Wayne, IN; companion Deborah Crague of Fort Wayne, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cynthia Wigfield and uncle, Kenneth Henry.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, April 6, 2019 St. Peters Lutheran Church 7710 E. State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Cremation will follow at Fort Wayne Crematory. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at St. Peters Lutheran Church.
