Ralph R. Hill, 83, of Bronson Michigan, formerly of Leo, passed away on May 19, 2016. Born on July 30, 1932, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Phillip and Mary Hill Sr. A member of Leo United Methodist Church, he was the owner of Hill Plumbing and Heating for 25 years and retired from GE as maintenance manager after 38 years of service; he was also a 50 year member and Past Master of the Leo Masonic Lodge #224, member and past Worthy Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star Leo #278, a 32nd degree through the Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine. Ralph loved golf, fishing, dominos, euchre, collecting toy trucks, the Chicago Cubs and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois Hill; children, Ken (Merry Kennedy) Hill, Jackie (Mike) Baker, Doug (Alicia) Hill, Tammy (Fred) Young, Bruce Hill and Terry (Chris) Hill; siblings, Richard Hill, Sharon Eastes, Phillip Hill Jr and Karen Washler; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren (with two on the way).
Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday May 25, at Leo United Methodist Church, 13527 Leo Road, Leo, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Tuesday May 24, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with a Masonic Service at 8pm. Burial will be in Leo Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Leo United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
