Paul Edward Gross

Paul Edward Gross, 83, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Decatur, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Paul was born on October 19, 1940 in Decatur, a son of the late Paul C. "Bub" and Mildred G. (Miller) Gross. He as a manager at Sherwin Williams Paint Co. in Decatur for nearly 30 years. He was a member at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Decatur. He enjoyed Notre Dame Football, he loved going to his cottage on Barton Lake, and he especially loved spending time with his family. Surviving family include his children, Matthew Gross, Stephanie Yarrington, and Luke Gross; 11 grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ann Rumschlag, Sue Witmer, and Patty Steiner. Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in passing by his wife, Kathleen (Baker) Gross in 2013; his daughter, Mary Kate Birch; and a brother, Thomas Gross. Per Paul's request, private family services will be held at a later time. Memorials in his name may be made to Parkview Hospice.
