Nancy J. Gephart, 91, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Born February 6, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Nancy was the daughter of the late Ben and Helen (Leech) Davidson. She retired from Lafarge Cement as an Executive Secretary. Nancy was known as a sweet, generous, and loving woman. She deeply loved her family and took every opportunity to spend time with them. Her husband and three children were her world. However, she found a way to make even more space in her loving heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy was an amazing mother and grandmother, she had a way of making each person in her life feel special. Nancy was an avid reader and loved gardening. She took well-deserved pride in her beautiful garden each summer. She leaves behind her husband of seventy years, Richard Gephart; son, Randall (Sally) Gephart; daughters, Susan (Richard) Weaver, Lynne (Michael) Hoffman; grandchildren, Craig (Tanya) Gephart, Scott (Janet) Gephart, Katherine (Ryan) Blackman, David Stout, Lindsay (Cody) Nelson, and Travis Mishler; great-grandchildren, Aiden Gephart, Elise Gephart, Logan Gephart, Ella Gephart, Tyler Newgent, Shelby Blackman, Levi Nelson, and Laina Nelson; sister-in-law, Betty Specht; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 1:30 pm on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior.
