I am so sorry for your loss.  There are no words.  Mike was a good person to the core.  I enjoyed working with him many years ago at SPG, and then more recently we collaborated on some client projects, and I completely trusted his judgment and ethics.  I am so sorry for your loss. Dear Nicole,  I'm shocked to the core, and can't imagine the sorrow you and the family are experiencing.   As the pandemic was just surfacing, I was walking out of the hotel where I was attending a conference and into the Copley Plaza Mall...and who do I unexpectedly see strolling my way with his rolling bag behind him - Mike.  It was fate our paths crossed and I felt compelled to take this picture of him and gave him a hug as I suspected we'd not see each other face to face soon again.  Prior to this time Mike was doing a project here in Boston and we were fortunate to grab a number of lunches together.  More recently we were collaborating on pursuing a project - pricing, of course - and over the past few months had weekly calls during which we'd mix both business and discuss life/family.  There are so few people like Mike (heck he even hopped on a call with our older son in college during his freshman year to help with a complex question on pricing from one of his classes).  I will carry his memory with me forever.  Our thoughts are with you and your entire family.   Drew & Deborah Namiot

Mike was my friend as well as my brother.  Even though he was the youngest sibling,  I looked up to him and am very proud of who he was.  He was an awesome advisor and role model to his nephews and others.  He was a true family man who loved his wife and children dearly.
We are left with many fond memories.  Until we meet again.

I was shocked to hear of the passing of Mike.  We were a customer of his and he was working on a consulting engagement for us.   He had to reschedule a meeting because he wasn't feeling well... and then we lost contact with Mike.    It was a shock to all of us when we came across his obituary.    I worked with Mike almost 20 years ago when he was at Strategic Pricing Group, and I was enjoying working with him again now.    He was not only a wonderful professional, but he was just a "great bloke".   I'm checking with our finance department to ensure that we arrange payment for his services whether he has invoiced us or not.

It was a privilege and a pleasure to know Mike Lawson!
Mike's sister, Cathy, is my best friend and I have known her since 6th grade.  Many weekends I spent with Cathy, her sister Teresa, her parents, and, of course, Mike.  I love the Lawson family! I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Mike. The Lord's ways are not our ways and it is sad that the Lord saw fit to take Mike home.  I suppose the Lord had some important work and needed another angel in Heaven.  As teenagers. we had many meals together.  We celebrated holidays together and were always together when the family was celebrating, or even together just sitting and eating hard crabs or hamburgers from Burger King!  We went camping and made so many memories together -- including when a wind storm came up and we all had a good laugh about what that entailed. Mike had a wonderful personality and always greeted me with a warm smile.  Not many brothers were kind to their sisters' friends but Mike was always pleasant and nice to be around. Some of my best memories were singing Christmas carols with the Lawsons, including Mike; swimming in their pool, going to their church for dances, and especially the New Year's parties at Uncle Bernie and Aunt Karen's house across the street.  May God bless and comfort the Lawson family and keep Mike close in their hearts.  I know Mike will be watching over the family forever. I especially enjoyed spending time with Mike at Cathy's wedding in Virginia Beach as he was the Best Man and I was one of the Matrons of Honor.   Mike looked so elegant in his uniform and was always a classy guy with a wonderful personality.  
In recent years I have become close with Mike's other sister, Teresa, as well, and I can truly say that I love Cathy, Teresa, and our Angel Mike, like my very own family,

My condolences to you all on the lose of Mike. I was fortunate to know and serve with him at the 200 MP Command for the past three years. MIKE WAS A BEACON WHOSE LIGHT CERTAINLY DID SHINE.  HIS DEVOTION TO HIS FAMILY AND EXTENDED FAMILIES IS ALMOST UNPARALLELED.
  IN A SHORT SPAN OF JUST OVER FIFTY YEARS HE MANAGED TO CRAM A MUCH LONGER LIFE SPAN'S OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS. HE WAS THE EPITOME OF A PATRIOTIC CITIZEN-SOLDIER--ONE WHO COULD HANDLE MULTIPLE CAREERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  SUCCESSFULLY WHILE SERVING SO MANY OTHERS.  HE SPENT 60% OF HIS LIFE SERVING HIS COUNTRY.
 NICOLE, KYLE, BROOKE, AND ASHLEY HAVE TRULY BEEN BLESSED TO BE HIS FAMILY.   WE LOVE THEM AND PRAY FOR THEM.
ALL WHO KNEW HIM AND  SO MANY WHO DID NOT AS WELL AS HIS COUNTRY  PROFITED FROM HIS LIFE. 
 JOYCE AND I WILL FOREVER MISS HIM AS  WILL ALL OF   HIS IMMEDIATE AND EXTENDED FAMILIES AND AS WILL SO MANY OTHERS WHOSE LIVES HE TOUCHED.   

I didn’t know Mike long as our career paths overlapped briefly. But I recall his kindness and decency and service to our country with clarity. I wish Nicole and his family my deepest condolences. 

I have known Mike for 45 years.  We grew up together in Maryland.   We were classmates,  members of Boy Scout troop, in the band and ran cross country together.   It is no surprise at how successful  he became in the military, business , as a father and a husband.  Mike has always been dedicated and hard working.  He has been an incredible  friend who has always stayed in touch no matter how far the Army, work or family took him.   I am truly grateful for his friendship.

Nicole, Kyle, Brooke, and Ashley we love you guys and will always be there for you.

Always a polite and kind man. Every time I saw him at the summer swim team events, there was always a wave or a nod. Always a hello.  My deepest condolences. My heart breaks for his wife and children. 

COL Lawson, thank you for your service to our country, mentorship, and friendship.  I will always remember how professional and calm you were. It was my honor to know you.

It is with  great  sorrow  that Ilene , Jacob  , Charles,  and I regret  the loss of Michael  . He will always  be missed  and the world  is a lesser place  without  him. Our prayers  are with you all .  There isn't  anything  we could  ever  say to ease  your pain  and , or your  loss . We so appreciated  the love and kindness  he showed  us by being  there for us at a difficult  time and we also  appreciated  you all shearing him with us . I will always remember the Lawson family Kindergarten field trip when Brooke was in my class. We learned to be good soldiers…and then enjoyed handwriting “boot camp” in the weeks that followed. Colonel Lawson was a great example for the kids of a man who loved and served his country.
