Michael A. Fox

Michael A. Fox, 80, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. Mike was born in Fort Wayne, on July 8, 1944, the youngest child of the late Aloysius and Virginia (Davis) Fox. After graduating from Bishop Luers High School, he joined the United States Air Force, serving two tours during the Vietnam War. The majority of his working life was spent on the assembly line at International Harvester (Navistar) at both the Fort Wayne and Springfield (Ohio) sites. Mike was a proud Vietnam veteran and Harvester/UAW retiree. Michael had a passion for fishing, gardening, woodworking, oil painting, and music (especially performances by his children, grandchildren, and Hall & Oates). He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deborah (Bevington); children, Shane (Jennifer) Fox and Dawn (Mark) Sekulich; grandchildren, Aliena, Siana, and Eva Fox, and Megan, Michael, and Delaney Sekulich; and sisters, Judy (Don) Mattes and Janice (Richard) Dager. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. A Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 4, 2024, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church,14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder, Indiana 46798. The Mass will be preceded by a praying of the rosary at 10:00 AM followed by visitation until Mass. A graveside service and burial will be held at Covington Cemetery at a later date. Contributions in Mike’s memory may be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church, St. Ann Catholic Church (Indianapolis), or the Evans Scholarship Foundation.
