Mary Louise Vandre, age 89, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born on Friday August 24th, 1934 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lena (Bulmahn) Uhlig. A member of St Paul's Lutheran Church Fort Wayne, she proudly worked alongside her family as Co-founder of Precision Heat Treating where she was a bookkeeper. She is survived by her children Kenneth (Janet) Vandre Jr., Beth (Don) Bartelt, James (Marlene) Vandre, Mark Vandre, David (Leslie) Vandre; sister Mildred Keuneke; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband of over 61 years Kenneth Vandre Sr,. one grandson, 3 sisters, and one brother. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday December 30, 2023, with visitation from 10-11 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 1126 South Barr St. Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Visitation also Friday 5-8 at Hockemeyer Miller Funeral Home 6131 St. Joe Rd Fort Wayne, IN 46835. Burial will be in Concordia Gardens Cemetery.
