Mary K. Shepard

MARY K. SHEPARD, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Dec. 2, 1961, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Max D. Oswalt and Franke M. (Ross). She was a homemaker and former Girl and Boy Scout leader. Surviving are children, Julia Shepard, Joseph Shepard and Kasey Hubbard, all of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Anna Oswalt and Elizabeth Pavlovich, both of Kentucky; and four grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Wayne Shepard. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Robert Hays and the Rev. Nathan Randolph officiating. Calling also from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
