Mary C. (Anderson) Lewis, 86, of Fort Wayne, went to heaven on Saturday, February 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 3, 1936, in Whitley County, she graduated from Huntertown High School, moved to Massachusetts, and settled in Connecticut. She and her husband, Lou Lewis, founded Graphics Plus Printing in both Bridgeport and Danbury, Conn., then expanded the printing business to West Palm Beach, Fla. They founded Art Is Fun (producers of instructional and educational television programs on PBS) in Delray Beach, Fla. Upon her retirement, she moved to West Palm Beach where she lived for eight years. She returned home to Fort Wayne in 2000. She was a 50+ year member of the Eastern Star (home Masonic Lodge Churubusco #515). Fondly known as “GG”, she is survived by her son, Michael Sr. (Ruth) Shearer of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Michael Jr. (Kandra) Shearer of Tenn., Mary Shearer of Fort Wayne, and Steven Wage of Tenn.; great-grandchildren, DeLayna and Michael Bryson Shearer of Tenn., Gary McKee of Fort Wayne, Sara Wage of Tenn., Andrew (Kenzie) Wage and son Zealand of Ind.; aunt, Esther (William) Anderson of Churubusco; and numerous cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Lewis; brother, Clarence E. Anderson; mother, Catherine (Rowland) Anderson; father and stepmother, Robert (Rita) Anderson; and stepsister, Pat (Jim) Taylor.
