Marjorie K. Mommer, 96, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 6, 2021. Born on April 8, 1924, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence A and Edith M (Martin) Mommer.
Marjorie was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, and was a retired teacher. She is survived by nephew, Robert Warner Hart, COL USA (ret); nieces, Anita Kay Alexander, and Diane Louise Hart, all of Sun City Center, FL; as well as several great-nieces and nephews, and her friends at Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Sumner "Paul" Mommer, and Rita M Hart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1122 South Clinton Street, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne).
