MARIE L. BRIGHT, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at Golden Years Homestead. Born Jan. 8, 1924, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late George and Helen Roesener, and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon M. Varner and Donna Jean Bauer; six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donovan G. Bright; daughter, Carol Lee Bull; grandchildren, Kevin Varner and Lisa Rockhold; brothers, Walter and Wayne Roesener; and sister, Lucille Zurbrugg. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
