Margaret “Mimi” Atkinson, 86, formerly of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2021, at her home of over 20 years, in Burbank, CA. She was born in March 26, 1935 in Chicago, Il, the daughter of the late Billy and Isabelle Goetz.
Mimi worked in Customer Service at Summit bank for many years. She was a long time member of Brookside Community Church of Fort Wayne, IN. Mimi is survived by her son, Thomas (Elissa) Atkinson; daughter, Carolyn (Peter) Hotchkiss, both of Burbank, CA; sisters, Betsy Claire Hedden of Fort Worth, TX; and Carolyn Lindberg of Sante Fe, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Atkinson, in 2001.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, March 21, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Private burial at Concordia Cemetery Gardends, Fort Wayne.
