Lucille B. Limer

BERTHA LUCILLE LIMER, 86, of Churubusco, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at St. Joe Hospital. She was born April 28, 1926 in Indiana, Pa., daughter of Wilbur Lee and Helen (Potts) Orr. She retired from Lincoln Life Insurance Company after 25 years. She was a long-time member of Colony Heights Church of Christ and very much loved her church and fellow church members. She is survived by her daughter, Clara (RJ) Saylor of Churubusco; granddaughters, Shannon (Andrew) Wagner of Celina, Ohio and Jennifer (Andrew) Mansfield of Fort Wayne; and grandsons, Johnny (Christy) Saylor of Rome City, and Christopher (Tina) Cramer of Franklin, Ohio. She was also blessed with great-grandsons, Corey Saylor (Jenna) of Kendallville, Drew, Jack, and Derrick Wagner of Celina, Ohio, Austin and Joe Harry of Fort Wayne, and great-granddaughters, Brandy and Carly Saylor of Rome City, Shelbe Eddington of Celina, Ohio, Chase Eddington of Mt. Perry, Ohio, and Nicole, Morgan and Faith Mansfield of Fort Wayne; sisters, Christine and Bessie; brother, Raymond of Pennsylvania. She loved her family very much and was loved very much by her family. She will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by husbands, John Gross and Marvin Limer; and son, Percy Gross; brothers, Larry and Russell Orr; and sisters, Erma and Lola. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, with calling one hour prior at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
